By Iman Bukhari, CEO of Canadian Cultural Mosaic Foundation Wow! What an amazing event! A full house! Thank you to the 400+ people who came out to watch our documentary on forced marriages. I hope you will take a piece of it home with you and that it inspired you enough to start a dialogue about it within your community. I am a firm believer of education making the biggest difference in our lives. We need to talk about the problems we have in our society. Often times because we live in a first world country, Canada, we think such problems don't exist in our society. This is when we silence the victims. Our foundation is so happy to have taken part of the 10th annual National Victims of Crime Awareness Week. So truly thank you for coming out and supporting our work! The entire team behind our organization was there and we all really appreciate your support. Feel free to read this Metro news on the event and the film.
